I Am The Haunted House

A text that began as a dialogue with the body in 2020 and was completed in 2025.

Thinking about architecture, aging surfaces, and how the body inhabits space.

In 2024, excerpts from this body essay were developed into a site-specific performance in collaboration with the Scenography Department, Bangkok. .department.bangkok

This publication sits alongside performance practice, continuing questions around structure, memory, and embodiment.

The piece questions the stability of “home” in an uncertain world, while tracing the memories we carry in a state of displacement. It reflects on human fragility, the intricate ties between relationships, and the driving forces that push us forward into the future.

A Cage of Fragile Heart
An immersive performance by RCB Experimental Art Lab and Follow the Star

“A Cage of Fragile Heart” confronts the quiet tension between autonomy and the structures we inherit—or construct ourselves. Drawing on personal memory and emotional depth, the piece is shaped by Pimdao Panichsamai—Bangkok Art Biennale 2024 artist and acclaimed filmmaker—working in experimental form.

The performance centres on David Bigander, whose physical expression moves through a world textured by verse from Win Nimman and movement direction by Pavida Wachirapanyaporn.

“A Cage of Fragile Heart” คือบทสำรวจของจิตวิญญาณที่ผู้กำกับต้องต่อรองระหว่างเสรีภาพกับภาระหน้าที่ ความกลัว เเละความกล้า ถ่ายทอดผ่านทางผู้แสดงเพียงหนึ่งเดียวโดยใช้ร่างกาย เสียง และพื้นที่ สื่อถึงวงจรของความฝัน การดิ้นรน การล่มสลาย และการค้นพบตัวตนอีกครั้ง

การแสดง “A Cage of Fragile Heart” มีความยาว 40 นาที โดยจะทำการแสดงด้วยภาษาไทยพร้อมคำบรรยายภาษาอังกฤษ โดยจะจัดแสดง ณ RCB Forum ชั้น 2 ริเวอร์ ซิตี้ แบงค็อกทั้งหมด 4 รอบ ตามวันและเวลาดังต่อไปนี้

'Dark Horse' Dance and Live sound performance 29th-30th July 2023,19.00 hrs. at Mind+Move Space
Dark horse will bring audiences to experience the power and influence of sounds affecting the people’s thoughts, emotions and minds. In the age being full of outer sounds, then, how do we hunt for our inner peace.
This piece is likely a metaphor for a place of refuge or a state of mind. I am talking about some kinds of heaven. There's no pain and all of nature is beautiful. “A painless place” is itself a kind of escape; a sound where you just close your eyes to find yourself instantly transported into a wonderful world.
