Chainarong Insakol | In the Midst of Gray

We are excited to invite you to In the Midst of Gray, a solo exhibition by Chainarong Insakol.

In the Midst of Gray presents the perspective of Chainarong through the character ‘Chawky’, expressing the emptiness of the heart—when, along the path of growing up, we may be too innocent to honestly respond to those emotions. Amid the confusion, we may not be different from the existence of gray.

In the Midst of Gray will be on view at Supples Gallery from 20 March to 3 May 2026, with the official opening taking place on Friday, 20 March 2026, from 18:00 – 21:00.

Mirage | Asoke

Supples Gallery is pleased to present Mirage, the second solo exhibition by Asoke.

Building on the explorations of perception and subconscious imagery in his previous exhibition, Mirage deepens his inquiry into the fluid boundaries between reality and illusion. In this new series, Asoke constructs layered worlds where suggestive forms, bursts of color, and faint architectural outlines intermingle, creating scenes that feel at once spatially grounded and dreamlike. These compositions evoke the sensation of glimpsing familiar structures through shifting light or memory—never fixed, always on the verge of transforming.

Mirage will be on view at Supples Gallery from 13 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, with the official opening taking place on Saturday, 13 December 2025, from 6–9 pm.

Epiphytes | Julia Phetra Oborne

With the act of painting underscoring her practice, Oborne blends myths, folklore, and autobiography in paintings that explore memory, identity, and reimagined visual languages.

Influenced by Abstract Expressionism and Southeast and East Asian imagery, her work shifts between abstraction and figuration.

Here, a selection of studies on aluminium panels adorn the gallery stairway.

Epiphytes will be on view at Supples Gallery until 7 September 2025.

Epiphytes | Julia Phetra Oborne

Supples is pleased to present Epiphytes, a solo exhibition by Julia Phetra Oborne, opening on Saturday 26th July 2025.

This body of work brings together a series of new oil paintings that reflect Oborne’s ongoing exploration of the relationships between women and trees, memory and myth, landscape and identity.

The paintings reflect the woodland as a universal and symbolic environment, familiar yet ambiguous, where the presence of the female form threads through the landscape. Both personal and symbolic, the paintings are shaped by Oborne’s dual Thai and British heritage.

Epiphytes will be on view at Supples Gallery from 26 July to 7 September 2025.
