Introducing The Cave Production
Transitioning into a production company where films, theater plays, and multimedia art will be created — rooted in raw authenticity, fearless artistic creation, and the deepest depths of the soul — The Cave Production proudly introduces our first project: the world-famous play No Exit by Jean-Paul Sartre!
Bringing back Jean-Paul Sartre’s No Exit from 1944 is highly relevant for the current situation of the potential looming of another World War. The one Einstein called
“I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”
The decision-making of the world is based on a few powerful people who are unable to see beyond themselves and into the good of humanity. Evidently, because if not, we would not be in the situation of “No Exit” in the current conflict in the Middle East that is affecting the whole world. In the play, the actors explore human nature: people who are stuck in hell partly because they are unable to see things beyond themselves. The lack of mirrors forces them to look deep inside themselves and ends with the famous line of the play resonating throughout the century by Garcin: “Hell is other people!”
