Jupitero (Jehan Johar), an underground progressive house, afro, tribal, world, and techno DJ from inner and outer space. Jupitero is the first Indian DJ to host official events at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), in 2011 & 2012. Has performed at festivals, clubs, warehouses, and even churches; in Amsterdam, Barcelona, London, Oslo, NYC, Vienna, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Hungary, Nepal, Thailand, and

all over India. His musical journey started from the early parties of Goa, through his school days of clarinet & saxophone, to his New York college days of jazz-percussion and DJing, to the formation of his NYC based DJ collective, ‘Sound Species’, and a few years later his formidable psytrance avatar, ‘Janux’. Jehan moved onwards to become the Head of Music Programming at the legendary Blue Frog (www.bluefrog.co.in) in Bombay when it opened in 2007, till 2014; where he booked international live band & DJ talent from all over the world, and headed their music projects and festival programming. 2007 is also when he began his exploration of underground progressive house & techno, and in combination with his life-long bond with music, has given rise to this projectWelcome to the orbit of Jupitero.

Blue FROG is coming back ⚡️💙

Blue FROG, once India’s most exciting music venue of the 2010s, is relaunching at a new venue in Ballard Estate in South Mumbai in early 2026, founder Mahesh Mathai () has confirmed to Rolling Stone India.

While Blue Frog had filed for bankruptcy in 2020, Mathai revived the company in 2024 and is now joined by entrepreneurs Suresh Bhojwani (also a longtime musician) () and Karan Bhojwani as well as veteran music programmer and electronic artist Jehan Johar ().

In an earlier interview with The Indian Express, Mathai said the venue will be part of the international cruise terminal in Ballard Pier.

Mathai says the reason they decided to relaunch Blue Frog was due to the incredible demand he saw for live music, especially with the international concert circuit. “When we started Blue Frog, if you had told me that Coldplay would have six concerts in India and U2 would be playing and people are going to buy tickets at these kinds of prices, I would have said, ‘No chance.’ That Lollapalooza will have year-on-year festivals that are getting bigger… I wouldn’t have believed it. It’s the living proof that there are people who are waiting to listen to live international music.”
