A remarkable collector from California, USA.

Eleven years ago, she brought home one of my Naga paintings from Chiang Mai.

This year, she returned and shared a story I will never forget.

When wildfires threatened her home, she had only moments to decide what to save. My painting was one of only six items she chose to carry with her.

As an artist, there is no greater honor than knowing a work has become part of someone’s life in such a meaningful way.
