In Koh Samui, Thailand these are the leaves of the Santol tree. In the winter they change colour and fall to the ground. Every day the ground is covered with their different hues. Greens, browns, oranges and vibrant reds.

Nearby is little park with a marsh that has a walking path around it. It's a nice quiet location to take my dogs for a walk. This painting is inspired by the marsh and it's reflection.
