𝘜𝘱𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘹𝘩𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯!
𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗺 — the first solo exhibition in Thailand by Yu Chuan Chang, who transforms the fleeting beauty of flowers into enduring moments through Eastern and Western aesthetics.
Inspired by the floral garlands found throughout Bangkok and at the Erawan Shrine, the exhibition reflects on impermanence and the beauty of fleeting moments in everyday life. Though flowers are destined to fade, they continue to be carefully woven with devotion and care, a philosophy that deeply resonates with the artist’s practice.
Presented as a “Garland of Eternity,” Yu Chuan’s floral paintings bind time, emotion, and memory onto the canvas, preserving flowers at their fullest bloom in an endless season of beauty.
𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗺 — นิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งแรกในประเทศไทยของ หยู่ ฉวน ชาง ศิลปินชาวไต้หวัน ผู้เปลี่ยนความงดงามเพียงชั่วครู่ของดอกไม้ ให้กลายเป็นนิรันดร์
แรงบันดาลใจจากพวงมาลัย ที่พบเห็นตามหน้าศาลพระหมในกรุงเทพฯ แม้ดอกไม้จะร่วงโรยอย่างรวดเร็ว ผู้คนก็ยังคงร้อยเรียงดอกดาวเรืองและดอกมะลิด้วยความเพียร เพื่อมอบความงดงามที่สุดในช่วงเวลาสั้น ๆ ราวกับการยอมรับ “ความไม่เที่ยง” ในชีวิตประจำวัน ซึ่งเป็นปรัชญาที่สะท้อนและสอดคล้องกับแนวทางการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานของศิลปินในครั้งนี้
ในนิทรรศการนี้นำเสนอผลงานดอกไม้ ในฐานะ “Garland of Eternity” หรือ “มาลัยในห้วงนิรันดร์” ที่ทุกฝีแปรงและการซ้อนทับของสี เปรียบเสมือนเข็มและด้ายที่ร้อยเรียงกลีบดอกไม้ เชื่อมโยงเวลา ความรู้สึก และความทรงจำลงบนผืนผ้าใบ
