I’m pleased to announce my selection as a recipient of the first cohort of the Africa Europe Partnerships for Culture — Sub-Saharan Africa Component Individual Mobility Grants programme, implemented by the Goethe-Institut in partnership with and the Institut français

My residency project, Fela, the Feminine Resistance, will take place in Nigeria in 2026. Through photography, archives, and visual research, the project explores women’s voices, memory, and resistance within the cultural legacy of Fela Kuti.
Beyond its artistic dimension, this residency represents both a personal and collective journey rooted in heritage, transmission, and dialogue.
I warmly thank the programme partners for their trust and support, as well as everyone contributing to this project, near or far.

Je suis heureux d’annoncer ma sélection en tant que lauréat de la première vague du programme Africa Europe Partnerships for Culture Afrique subsaharienne Individual Mobility Grants, mis en œuvre par le Goethe-Institut, en partenariat avec Expertise France et l’Institut français.
Mon projet de résidence artistique, Fela, la résistance féminine, se déroulera au Nigeria en 2026. À travers la photographie, les archives et la recherche visuelle, il interroge les voix féminines, la mémoire et les formes de résistance liées à l’héritage culturel de Fela Kuti.
Au-delà de sa dimension artistique, ce projet s’inscrit comme un parcours personnel et collectif fondé sur la transmission, la mémoire et le dialogue.
Je remercie chaleureusement les partenaires du programme ainsi que toutes celles et ceux qui contribuent à ce projet, de près ou de loin.

Ma première installation est exposée au Musée Paul Ahyi à Lomé jusqu’au 30 décembre 2025, dans le cadre du Togo Photo Festival.

Ce projet est né de mon intérêt pour la photographie comme vecteur de mémoire, mais aussi comme objet symbolique. J’ai créé des boîtes en bois, entre objets d’art et caméras muettes. Elles racontent des images qu’on ne voit plus, qu’on n’a peut-être jamais prises, mais qu’on n’oublie pas.

Matières croisées : bois, peinture, textiles, papiers photo, QR codes, objets récupérés. Chaque boîte devient fragment, mémoire, silence ou trace.

Une installation à vivre comme un jeu ou une méditation, pour réfléchir à ce qu’on garde, ce qu’on oublie, et ce qu’on transmet.

My first installation is exhibited at the Paul Ahyi Museum in Lomé until December 30, 2025, as part of the Togo Photo Festival.

This project stems from my interest in photography as a vehicle of memory but also as a symbolic object. I created wooden boxes, somewhere between art objects and silent cameras. They tell stories of images no longer seen, perhaps never taken, but never forgotten.

Crossed materials: wood, paint, textiles, photographic paper, QR codes, found objects. Each box becomes a fragment, memory, silence, or trace.

An installation to experience like a game or meditation, to reflect on what we keep, what we forget, and what we pass on.

Mes œuvres de la série Yayra kple n'tifafa (« Bénédiction et Paix » en langue Éwé) sont exposées au Musée Paul Ahyi à Lomé jusqu’au 30 décembre 2025, dans le cadre du Togo Photo Festival. Elles prennent vie pour raconter une histoire profonde.

À travers des collages mêlant pièces de monnaie sacrées et symboles ancestraux, je cherche à dévoiler une mémoire fragile et puissante, un pont entre spiritualité, tradition et modernité.

Ces œuvres célèbrent la force d’un peuple, la richesse d’un patrimoine en mouvement, et l’importance de redonner vie à ce qui s’efface.

Venez vibrer avec cette exposition qui parle de foi, d’identité et de paix intérieure.
