🎉🔥 BELATED BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION: NCE NCE NCEDO aka Ncedo William Umtukulu 🔥🎉
Yesterday we celebrated the birthday of one of the most promising young voices in Eswatini’s creative movement Ncedo Umtukulu.
From stepping onto the stage as a young spoken word artist at Mbab’City Open Mic… to becoming a nationally recognised performer across poetry, theatre, radio and film . Ncedo’s journey reflects the power of consistency, language and fearless storytelling.
Known for his emotionally layered performances and deep command of the SiSwati language far beyond his years, Ncedo first broke into the scene through his powerful poem “2020 Umnyaka wamashay'abhuce” ,a raw reflection on the emotional realities of the COVID-19 era while still fresh out of high school.
Since then, he has continued to evolve into a multidimensional creative voice:
