We partnered with the U.S. Embassy Fulbright Specialist Program to support the Standard Bank Luju Festival Fashion Indaba opening keynote: “The State of African Fashion — Introduction to Ecosystem Context.”

Our Fulbright specialist, Dr. Brea Heidelberg — Professor of Arts Administration and ecosystem-management expert shared insights on practical ways that the local fashion industry can build a stronger, more sustainable fashion ecosystem. Our cofounder Siphilele Magagula moderated the conversation.

For the past few weeks, as part of our Vukubone Culture Lab Dr. Brea has been engaging with local higher education institutions, arts administrators and stakeholders over the past few weeks exploring ways to create a stronger creative ecosystem. We will be sharing some of these engagements.

Thank you Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival for this wonderful platform we were happy to support.
