This past week, after our content creation masterclass with ThandoComedy, we were invited by Berachah Kitchen for lunch. We were warmly welcomed into their beautiful space and treated to the best hospitality and the most delicious chicken we have ever tasted. We are truly grateful to Berachah Kitchen for the love and hospitality, and we look forward to more partnerships and collaborations in the future.

The Eswatini Comedy Association on Saturday signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Thando Comedy Films, in collaboration with the National Arts and Culture Awards (NACAs) and the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC).

The 12-month partnership is aimed at developing and promoting comedy, digital content creation and filmmaking in Eswatini through cross-border collaboration. As part of the agreement, Thando Comedy Films will conduct at least one official talent audition in Eswatini, while the winners of the Best Comedian and Best Content Creator categories at the National Arts and Culture Awards will receive casting opportunities in Thando Comedy Films productions, subject to production requirements.

The MoU also provides for collaboration on masterclasses, workshops, mentorship programmes and networking events.

The Eswatini Comedy Association proudly hosted renowned KwaZulu-Natal comedian ThandoComedy for a highly successful Content Creation & Digital Income Masterclass. The session brought together comedians, content creators, media professionals and creatives eager to learn practical strategies for building sustainable careers in the digital space.

The event was further enriched by insightful presentations from Mfundo Simelane, a mental health professional and Phumlani Matse, Communications and Information Manager at Manzini Municipality, who shared valuable perspectives on mental wellness and effective Branding and alignment respectively.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all our speakers, attendees, partners and media for making this an impactful and memorable learning experience,special thank you to the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture for the support.
