Our Story
Bailamos Dance Studio is the first of its kind in Swaziland, professional and passionate about dance and all its benefits. We offer a welcoming, encouraging and caring community where you can leave your worries and insecurities behind and have fun while building a social network, learning about yourself and how to express yourself, and training your mind and body.
Bailamos aims to grow the dance community in Swaziland and connect with other communities of dancers across the region and the world. We aim to produce dancers who can dance with anyone anywhere in the world! For this reason, our teaching methods are based in a solid foundation of fundamental concepts and techniques that translate across a number of dances and styles. We aim to grow people as complete dancers, not just dancers of a specific genre, although you will learn this too! Our students will be versed in the many elements and concepts required to understand and execute dances correctly, safely and beautifully, with anyone.
We offer group and private lessons, dance events, wedding choreographies, team building activities, wellness programs, performances, dance camps, event planning and more. Starting in August 2016 and specializing in Ballroom and Latin, Salsa, Kizomba and Bachata, Bailamos now has over 100 students and offers weekly group lessons in Mbabane, Ezulwini, Malkerns and Matsapha and has private clients all over Swaziland. We hold dance parties at least twice a month in Ezulwini, Mbabane and Matsapha.
