Title: Goodbye

I just came to say goodbye
Moving on won't be easy but I'll try.
You deserve better
Pardon my sombre letter,
Truth be told your love was sweet
From tight hugs, heartbeat for heartbeat
The texture of the palm of your hand
Your small eyes telling a story I'd understand
Your cheeks everytime you tried not to flirt
Your curvey body, stomach flat.
I just came to say goodbye
Move on don't be shy.
The sweet scent of your hair, your height so rare
Your love so clear, my vision - blur.
You were always there, wasting your bus fare
But I didn't seem to care and that was so unfair,
You're gone, it's hard to believe
Helplessly, I watched you leave
Same story everyday nothing new, my incoming calls were few.
No longer the guy you knew so You spread your wings and flew,
I just came to say goodbye
You were a good one, I won't lie.
"You never know what you have till it's gone"
This time I can relate, I'm all alone
I feel down, empty and hopeless
"Home is where the heart is" , I guess I'm homeless
I still have your face in my gallery, a whole file
You still wearing that beautiful smile
It's a pity you're no longer mine
But it's ok I'll be fine
I just came to say goodbye
I pray you find a perfect guy.
I made this bed, allow me sleep
This pain of losing you cuts deep
They say a man does not weep
Well, my tears fill a glass, take a sip,
I know you gave it your all
Even though sometimes I stumbled and fall
You'd help me back to the wall
You really played your role,
I just came to say goodbye
Nothing big I'm just passing by.
The sad part is renaming
When there's nothing remaining
It's over but I gotta be tough
I just accepted that I'll never be enough
Couldn't take you out, I was broke
The only lowlife in your circle, I was a joke,
Far away from your intellectual capacity
At least if I made it to Varsity.
I just came to say goodbye
So there's no longer "you and I".
It's true, I don't know what love is
But I pray you find one in peace,
You cought me off guard
And nicely played yourcard,
I can't imagine you loving another man
It'll be like putting my heart in a frying pan,
Somebody just press rewind
I wanna revisit some moments in back of my mind.
I just came to say goodbye
Just in case our paths meet again, do say "hi!".
Weird love so abysmal
Though without you, life is dismal
Too late, in a worse state to ameleorate
Already lost a soulmate
In a twinkle of an eye,
In a buzz of a fly...
Let me know if you were joking
I still wanna be your King.
I just came to say goodbye
I never thought this love would die.
