البدايات المبكرة لنادي جدل تعود إلى عام ٢٠١٩ و التي كانت من خلال تدريبات إعداد سيدات مُناظِرات استمرت لعدة شهور من التدريب المتواصل على فنون المناظرة و تقنيات البحث العلمي و مهارات الإلقاء.
تشكلت على إثر هذه التدريبات عدد من الفرق التي بدأت تتناظر فيما بينها تجهيزاً لبطولات مركزية في مناسبات عالمية كيوم المرأة العالمي و حملة الستة عشر يوماً لمناهضة العنف ضد المرآة ، حملة الكشف المبكر عن سرطان الثدي و حملة مناهضة الزواج المبكر.
تطورت مسيرة السيدات ضمن النادي لتمكينهن في فن المناظرة حيث شاركن في لجان التحكيم و مرافقة المدرب في تيسير التدريبات للسيدات الجدد المنتسبات للنادي لنقل خبرتهن.
كانت هذه شرارة الانطلاق التي تم احنضانها من عدد من الجمعيات المحلية الفاعلة في ذلك الوقت.
توقف عمل النادي لاحقاً نظراً لضعف الإمداد اللوجستي، و اغلاق المراكز الحاضنة لأعمال النادي ، بالإضافة إلى القيود المفروضة في البلاد على حرية الرأي و التعبير مما يحد من مجال عمل النادي كثيراً.
اليوم نتطلع إلى إعادة إحياء النادي و تفعيله بهمة السيدات الاعضاء في سوريا الجديدة الحرة العمل على تمكين المرأة في الشأن العام كهدفاً جوهرياً للنادي.
The early beginnings of Jadal Club date back to 2019, which was through the training of women debaters that lasted for several months of continuous training in Debate, scientific research techniques, and public speaking skills.
As a result of these trainings, a number of teams were formed and began debating in preparation for centralized tournaments on global events such as International Women's Day, the 16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women campaign, the early detection of breast cancer campaign, and the campaign against early marriage.
The women's journey within the club evolved to empower them in Debate, where they participated in judging committees and accompanied the coach in facilitating trainings for new women affiliated with the club to transfer the experience.
This was the spark that was incubated by a number of active local associations at the time.
The club's work was subsequently halted due to poor logistics, the closure of incubation centers, and the country's restrictions on freedom of opinion and expression, which severely limited the scope of the club's work.
Today, we look forward to reviving the club and activating it with the energy of the women members in the new, free Syria, working on empowering women in public affairs as a core objective of the
club.
