ArtLab.sr ArtLab.sr is opgericht in 2002 en organiseert uiteenlopende projecten op het gebied van kunst en cultuur en werkt samen met Stg. o.a.

LMPA/Liesbeth Peroti in De Werkplaats voor Podiumkunsten. ArtLab.sr is in 2002 opgericht met de statutaire doelstelling 'de belangstelling voor Surinaamse kunst en cultuur in binnen- en buitenland te bevorderen'. Om de doelstelling te kunnen realiseren wordt gewerkt op projectbasis; bij ieder project worden personen en organisaties betrokken die de deskundigheid hebben om dat project uit te kunnen

voeren. Vanaf de oprichting in 2002 hebben we dan ook tientallen projecten gerealiseerd waaronder het Rain Forest Kunst Festival in 2005, 2009 en 2011 en waren voorstellingen van de stichting te zien in het buitenland. in China, Zuid-Korea, Curacao, Trinidad, Frans Guyana en Nederland.

On December 1th 2024 Suriname was shocked by the complete burning down of the almost 50 year old Balletschool Charlotte Sprangers, the building was around 100 years old.
