The American Corner Thies is a partnership between the Regional Cultural Center of Thies, Senegal and the Embassy of the United States in Senegal.

The American Corner is an English Language and American Cultural Center. It's resources are focused on English language learning and cultural programming about the United States. The Corner has a collection of English books, dictionaries, CDs, DVDs, eReaders, and audiobooks for members. There is also a computer lab with internet available for members to do research. The Corner offers information t

o local residents about the United States, and acts as a hub for English language activities in Thies. The Corner offers a weekly English conversation club and film screening, and regular cultural programs, entrepreneurship, leadership and self development workshops, such as visual and performing arts, and cross-cultural discussions and roundtables.
