*Cinema Delores Inc YouTube Channel Launch and *Premiere of *This That or The Other on Friday, October 31st at 6 p.m. (Michigan, USA) / 10 p.m. (Sierra Leone).
We didn’t set out to make this film simply because we’re filmmakers, but because we’re curious artists drawn to worlds we don’t fully understand. This That or The Other is the result of that curiosity; a journey into the realm of artificial intelligence, not as technologists but as storytellers seeking meaning.
AI inspires both awe and fear, the fear of being replaced or forgotten. But we asked: What if AI could amplify human creativity instead of silencing it? That question led us to this film.
The story follows five souls sent to Earth to do good and return to give an account of their actions. A narrative brought to life through a bold collaboration between humans and AI.
A partnership between Lloyd Zachy Production Ltd, MGT Productions Ltd (Sierra Leone), and Cinema Delores Inc. (USA), two of which are proudly women-led. This film explores a vital question: Can technology serve us, not replace us?
In creating this project, we also confronted the issue of unequal access to AI tools, particularly for creatives in Africa, a conversation we hope to continue. For now, we present the official trailer for This That or The Other.
