*CONGRATULATIONS TO BO RANGERS FAMILY*

Congratulations to all of us here and those fans who are not enlisted here.

This victory is a testament that what is meant to be shall be.

I am specifically grateful to Almighty Allah. My uncle who won this cup in 1969 as a district team player is alive to witness this milestone under my leadership.

I thank the entire fan club executive with Tejan Koroma as chairman. Pa, you are part of this history and achievements in every form you can think of.
When the date was set, you and I agreed that we would not take the fans to Freetown for this final. We didn’t do so because we are cognisant of the fact that fans' tempers sometimes get high and we also did not want anyone to use the match as an opportunity to bring discord between us and Lions FC who are a sister club to us.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank all our financial and moral contributors including but not limited to Dr David Moninina Sengeh, Chief Minister Government of Sierra Leone, Dr. Musa Kpaka, Fassally Tarawalie Alhaji Kanja Sesay, Gassimu Mallah, Rev Marva, brother Bangali, Ing. Mohamed Amara, Hon Bashiru Sidique, Hon Sidie Tunis, the Mayor of Bo City, the District Chairman and a host of others that are worth mentioning.

I also want to say thanks to our players, technical team, kit boy, bus driver, the player's caterer, Southern Arena Stewards, and management.

Thanks and appreciation to the Board of Directors under the leadership of the Chairman, P.C Prince Lappia Boima, and his entire membership.

To my Executive, thank you very much. You have made my leadership an easy one and together we have delivered for our people.

Most importantly, I want to express our profound thanks and appreciation to the Almighty for making this possible. His magnificent grace, provision, and protection have been the source of everything we have achieved.
We continue to look up to you for more.

Lastly, thanks to the government of Sierra Leone for providing the funds for this year's FA Cup and for supporting football in its entirety.

The Catholic Church recognizes at least three different saints named Valentine or Valentinus, all of whom were martyred. One legend contends that Valentine was a priest who served during the third century in Rome. When Emperor Claudius II decided that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families, he outlawed marriage for young men. Valentine, realizing the injustice of the decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine’s actions were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death. Still others insist that it was Saint Valentine of Terni, a bishop, who was the true namesake of the holiday. He, too, was beheaded by Claudius II outside Rome.
Other stories suggest that Valentine may have been killed for attempting to help Christians escape harsh Roman prisons, where they were often beaten and tortured. According to one legend, an imprisoned Valentine actually sent the first “valentine” greeting himself after he fell in love with a young girl—possibly his jailor’s daughter—who visited him during his confinement. Before his death, it is alleged that he wrote her a letter signed “From your Valentine,” an expression that is still in use today. Although the truth behind the Valentine legends is murky, the stories all emphasize his appeal as a sympathetic, heroic and—most importantly—romantic figure. By the Middle Ages, perhaps thanks to this reputation, Valentine would become one of the most popular saints in England and France.
