FIRST ANNUAL INTER-FACULTY DRAMA COMPETITION 202
The 2026 Inter-Faculty Drama Competition, students empowerment initiative by the University of Sierra Leone Creative & *Theatre Group held on Friday the 13th February 2026. Each Faculty put up a unique theatre performance on the theme: *Building a Better Future for Sierra Leone .*
The Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery (COMAHS) stood-out with their presentation, which impressed both the judges and the audience. They were ultimately crowned as this year’s Inter-Faculty Drama Competition champions, taking away the grand prize of Fifteen Thousand Leones (Le15,000) plus a trophy.
The Faculty of Communication, Media and Information Studies (FBC) were runners up in the 2nd position, clinching Five Thousand Leones (Le5,000) and The Faculty of Arts (FBC) were in 3rd position with Three Thousand Leones (Le3,000).
Several special individual prizes and were given to the Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director and Best Stage Manager. Certificates were presented to ALL cast members from the participating faculties.
The event was witnessed by stakeholders in the education sector and the university.
