LAKE GROUP UNVEILS NEW GLOBAL BRAND IDENTITY AND ANNOUNCES OFFICIAL U.S. EXPANSION
FREETOWN, SIERRA LEONE / SILICON VALLEY, CALIFORNIA — LAKE Group, one of West Africa's most celebrated creative conglomerates, today announces the official unveiling of its new unified global brand identity and its formal expansion into the United States of America — a defining milestone in a journey that began over a decade ago in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Founded in 2013 as LAKE Production SL Limited, the company has spent more than a decade producing some of West Africa's most iconic events, award ceremonies, cultural festivals, and entertainment franchises.
In May 2026, driven by the vision of Founder and CEO Dr. Alhaji K. Tarawally, the company was officially registered in the State of California as LAKE Group Sierra Leone LLC — establishing a Silicon Valley headquarters and cementing its status as a truly cross-continental creative brand.
As part of an ongoing global rebranding initiative, all social media platforms previously operating under "LAKE Group of Companies" and "LAKE Production Sierra Leone" have been fully merged and consolidated under one unified identity — LAKE Group — now active across all digital platforms and anchored by the company's new official logo and brand tagline: African Roots. Global Reach.
LAKE Group delivers a full range of services across multimedia production, marketing and advertising, branding and PR, website development, social media management, event management, photography, graphic design, and business consultancy — serving corporations, governments, NGOs, entertainers, and entrepreneurs across Africa, North America, and beyond.
Through its subsidiaries, the company holds exclusive rights to some of Africa's most recognised event franchises, including the National Entertainment Awards (NEA), National Music Awards(NMA), National Music Festival (NMF), National Hip Hop Awards (NHHA), Miss Freetown Beauty Pageant (MFBP), Miss Mano River International Beauty Pageant (MMRIBP), and the Africa Music Festival.
Later this year, LAKE Group will relaunch its global website, www.lakegroupsl.com — a modern, AI-powered platform that offers the company's full range of services and products online. The platform will feature online ticketing, multimedia voting, and a worldwide payment system supporting credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, Orange Money, and Afri Money.
