Today marks one year since we lost our beloved artist, Jelly Bee. It still feels like yesterday. The pain is still fresh in our hearts.
God took her at a time when the world was just getting ready for her music and her art. She was rising. She was shining. She had so much more to give. But heaven gained a beautiful soul.

At A-Bangz Originals, we miss her deeply. We miss her voice in the studio. We miss her smile. We miss her energy.

We remember her today and every day of our lives.

To honour her memory, we went to Taima in Bo, her home town, where we carried out a charity in her name. It was our way of showing love to her community and keeping her spirit alive.

Jelly Bee was family. She was a dreamer. She was a light.

As we continue to mourn her, we are also preparing to celebrate her legacy.

Rest well, Jelly Bee.

A year ago, we recorded this song in Nigeria. Six months ago, we lost our beautiful sister, the
Muzikimaanegorhantee.

This Saturday, one of her biggest hit songs, High Tension, was played on Big Brother Naija. We were shocked and incredibly happy to see her music celebrated on Africa’s biggest reality TV show. It reminded us of her voice, her energy, and the way she inspired so many people through her art.

Every lyric, every performance, touched hearts and created memories we will never forget.

Though she is no longer with us, her songs continue to speak for her. Her impact will live on in every melody and every soul she inspired.

Continue to rest in peace, sister. Your music lives forever.

Your presence, condolences, and support mean the world to us during this difficult time.

Funeral of Betty Lamboi (Jelly Bee).

The funeral of the female rap king signed under A-Bangz Originals, Betty Lamboi (Jelly Bee), will take place in Taima Town, Bo District, today, Monday, 24 February 2025, at 2:00 PM.

In remembrance of the life of Betty Lamboi (Jelly Bee), the country’s music industry, including A-Bangz, Sugar Flow Factory, Cribs International, Paradise Records, the Bo Artists' Union, Bo Rangers, and several mourners across Sierra Leone, gathered last night, 23 February 2025, for a candlelight vigil and tribute at Paradise in Freetown and Bo City Plaza at 7:00 PM.

Jelly Bee’s coffin will arrive at her hometown, Taima Town, this afternoon, before she is laid to rest at 2:00 PM.

Mourners and sympathizers from across the country have offered prayers and paid tribute to Jelly Bee as she makes her final journey to her hometown, Taima Town, on Monday, 24 February 2025.

Hundreds of artistes, supporters, fans, music lovers, gather in unison to mourn the death of and celebrate the life of Betty Lamboi, popularly known as Jelly Bee, who died on the 21st February 2025.

A candlelight procession was held at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm from Y Junction, Bo, to Bo Plaza where hundreds gathered to honor Jelly Bee.
