Úkladná vražda dvoch mladých ľudí v stredu večer v LGBTQI+ podniku Tepláreň šokovala a hlboko zasiahla celé Slovensko.

Aj my v Tater Games sme si uctili pamiatku Juraja a Matúša dnes na pochode za odsúdenie nenávisti voči LGBTQI+ komunite.

Odsudzujeme tento čin a vyjadrujeme úprimnú sústrasť rodinám a kamarátom a silu ľuďom z LGBTQI+ komunity.

The murder of two young people on wednesday evening in the LGBTQI+ bar Tepláreň shocked and deeply affected all of us in Slovakia.

Tater Games honored the memory of Juraj and Matus today at the march for condemning hatred towards the LGBTQI+ community.

We condemn this act and express our sincere condolences to their families and friends. We also wish strength to the entire LGBTQI+ community.

Today we prepared a few interesting facts about

Willows are originally from Slovakia 🇸🇰 They have been part of the plant kingdom for millions of years!
The literature lists 21 subspecies 🌱

Did you know that?
🐝Willows begin to bloom in early April, making them one of the first pollen sources for insects.
💧They purify the water and wetlands in which they grow.
🌾They strengthen the banks of streams and rivers.
🪳The trunk of an adult willow is partially hollow. Living in those cavities can be a huge number of insect species (about 700 species) & even some animals.

Beaver as a lumberjack🦫
In the winter, a beaver needs lots of green food.
In case of a shortage, it will drop a large tree and use only young branches & leaves 🍃 The rest of the fallen tree is then used by other animals and plants for protection, food, fertilizer, and more.

🗺Mapping and cleaning of wells and springs
🌾Wetland rescue in forests and fields
💨Protecting forests in seasonal climate changes
🌲Rescue of old trees in areas outside forests
📚Volunteer training
🌳Tree planting by trained volunteers
💙Marking trees with a blue triangle to protect them from cutting down

Did you know that?:
The Blue Triangle is currently designated in new regulations in some European countries as a mark for trees to persist in state forests.

One of the best ways to connect with the Earth is through cleanups!
