Nuri Bilge Ceylan — Eye Filmmuseum presenteert t/m 1 juni de eerste tentoonstelling in Nederland van de gelauwerde Turkse filmmaker en fotograaf Nuri Bilge Ceylan. Het museum brengt daarbij voor het eerst zijn prijswinnende films en zijn minder bekende landschapsfotografie samen. Die combinatie onthult niet alleen Ceylans meesterlijke fotografische blik en gevoel voor compositie, maar ook de diep menselijke manier waarop hij universele thema’s verkent vanuit de Turkse context.

Bratislavské múzeum hľadá zbierkové predmety z obdobia augusta 1968, ktoré by mu umožnili hlbšie skúmať túto udalosť. Pamätníci môžu pomôcť tým, že do múzea prinesú dobové fotografie, letáky či dokumenty.
