FRAGMENTY UKRAJINY
Vernisáž 25.9. O 18:00 v Rare Cultural Space
Dj set
SAVE THE DATE!

Otváracie hodiny: ŠT - NE 15:00 - 19:00

The CONCRETE REFLECTIONS series presents works created in specific locations around the world.

The idea was to take a photograph with concrete.
Just like the traditional photography captures light reflected onto a light-sensitive film, I captured the shape reflected into concrete, the very material that shapes its urban landscape.

This CONCRETE REFLECTION was created in the heart of Tainan City at the Thng Tik-Tsiong Memorial Park in May 2025.

All sculptures from the series carry the exact date of their creation on the back, serving as a future
reference point, allowing one to trace them back to their original locations and sense the patterns that were the city at that moment in time.

This exhibition book is a piece of art, just look at it.
My works were part of the Cæméntum: 생동하는 물질 exhibition at the and are also included in this book 🤩

It was more than an exhibition, it was also a celebration of the material which made the modern Korea and the world. Honored to be part and to also find myself in such a great group of selected artists.

Thank you 🥂🥂🥂🙏

My new artworks were made in Taiwan 🇹🇼

The TAIWAN ONLY / TAINAN series explores the architectural identity and growth of the city through building materials deeply connected to its past and present. Artworks were created using Taiwan yellow cypress wood originally from old buildings in the Tainan area. The sculptures were made from concrete produced in Tainan, a material that continues to shape the city’s future.

The wood patterns impressed into the concrete resemble mountain forms, symbolically connecting these trees back to their origins in the mountains. They carry their history, memory, and identity within them, much like we humans do. Shaped by our surroundings, we also carry the imprint of place which shaped us.

In these artworks, concrete symbolically overtakes wood, just as it has in reality, becoming the dominant material in the development of Tainan and Taiwan. It creates the environment for its people, shaping the imprints of their identity.

Now on display at REFLECTIONS OF TAIWAN exhibition at the Soulangh Cultural Park, Tainan City, Taiwan.

Exclusively available only at The Moolah Multi-Art Space in Tainan, Taiwan.

This was an art residency in Taiwan, 105 sunny and colorful days that led to the creation of my two new series for our group exhibition Reflections of Taiwan with .huang_artist and at the Soulangh Cultural Park .

But more than artworks were created, friendships were too. I’m deeply grateful to have met such wonderful people and to have experienced all of this also thanks to you. It was truly an honor to spend time in Taiwan and with you!

While the residency comes to an end, it also marks new beginnings.

Thank you , , , , , , Carole, , .rmc, Michael, 良良, and the very special thanks goes to Chienhua Huang .huang_artist
