Funnylicious Theater Slovakia's premier English improv theater and training center. We are Slovakia’s first and only English language improv troupe and training center.

We are dedicated to providing high quality entertainment and improv training to everyone! We are based in Bratislava, however, we often travel to other European cities for shows and workshops. We are really thankful to have had the opportunities to teach and perform in cities like Brno, Vienna, Athens and Barcelona. We perform in English but time to time we also perform in made-up languages just for the hell of it. We sing, dance, make silly voices, create fictional characters and funny situations based on your suggestions. And what's more, we do all those things right before your eyes, immediately and spontaneously. Don't just take our word for it. Come watch us perform live or join one of our improv classes today!

On 12 September, Stories Without Borders had its very first public performance at Akademia Sztuki Nowoczesnej — marking the beginning of the touring journey of V4 Improv Connect 2.0, a project created and led by ISAC / Funnylicious Theater.

With Stories Without Borders, we are exploring how improvised theatre can connect people without depending on a shared language — creating a show audiences can follow, enjoy and feel part of, regardless of how much English they speak. Through physical storytelling, music, character and shared human experiences, we want to make improv more accessible across cultures and borders.

After two intensive LAB days and rehearsals guided by our Lublin external expert , performers from Slovakia, Czechia, Poland and Hungary came together to create across languages, movement, music and improvisation.

We were delighted to present the show as part of the Dreams Republic Festival / Republika Marzeń, hosted by .

A huge thank you to Arek, all of our wonderful performers, Paulina Prokopiuk (.prokopiuk), Łukasz “Luk” Wojtowicz, the Eastern Theatre team, and everyone in Lublin who helped welcome us, support the LAB and bring our first performance to life. ❤️

WELCOME TO HOTEL PRESSBURG.
A private party. Six suspects. One murder. And a killer still in the room.
You are cordially invited to an exclusive evening at Hotel Pressburg, hosted by the owner himself, Viktor Valek.
After years of running Hotel Pressburg, Viktor is preparing to make a major announcement about the hotel’s future. Drinks are being poured. Music is playing. The VIP guests have arrived.
There is only one problem. Viktor Valek is dead.
Before the party can officially begin, Police Inspector Adrian Tan arrives at Hotel Pressburg to meet Viktor — only to discover his body in Suite 401.
And it soon becomes clear that six people inside Hotel Pressburg had a reason to want him dead.
Death at Hotel Pressburg is an improvised, immersive murder mystery in which you are Viktor Valek’s VIP guests, watching the investigation unfold around you.
Watch the suspects being questioned. See moments from their past come alive through improvised scenes. Decide who is telling the truth…and who is very, very good at lying.
By the end of the investigation, you’ll have to make your own decision: WHO KILLED VIKTOR VALEK?
But there is another twist. The murderer is not always the same person.
A different night can produce a different murderer — and an entirely different investigation. You’ll have to be there to find out.

Four countries, eight performers and one creative experiment. 🎭🌍

V4 Improv Connect is back with a new chapter: Stories Without Borders.

Artists from Slovakia, Czechia, Hungary and Poland are coming together to explore a simple question:

Can we create improvised stories across languages and cultures—without audiences needing to understand every spoken word?

Through training, collaboration and rehearsal, the V4 team will develop one shared performance format as it travels from country to country.

Our first stop is Lublin, Poland, from 9–13 September 2026. After two intensive creative LAB days with external expert Arkadiusz “Arek” Ziętek, we’ll share the first public performance of Stories Without Borders on Saturday, 12 September.

The performance will be part of Dreams Republic Festival, an international theatre festival organised by Teatr Wschodni / Eastern Theatre.

We don’t know exactly what the format will become yet—and that’s part of the fun of the improv process. 😊

We get asked all the time: “When and how can I join a class at Funnylicious?”

🎭 Short-Form Improv – Open to the Public, Mondays, 7:00–8:30 PM
Beginner & introvert-friendly. The focus is on having fun, learning something new, and playing in a supportive, no-pressure environment.

🇸🇰 Otvorený tréning improvizácie – po slovensky, Štvrtky, 18:30–20:00
Skvelé aj pre začiatočníkov! Príďte sa zahrať, zasmiať, spoznať nových ľudí a vyskúšať si improvizáciu v uvoľnenej a podporujúcej atmosfére.

These are our two regular open classes every week, so you can pretty much count on finding us here — unless we announce otherwise.

Come and find out why they might just be the unofficial best place in Bratislava to meet new people, laugh a lot, step outside your comfort zone, and actually feel part of a community. All without alcohol being involved. 😉

Our longest-running signature improv comedy show is now in its 12th year. Expect improvised scenes made up entirely on the spot — no scripts, no second takes, and no two shows are ever the same. When we say signature comedy show, we mean a wild mix of genres, formats, sketch comedy, and even a bit of musical improv.
It’s a one-of-a-kind night of imagination, satire, storytelling, music, and playful surprises. Perfect for a date night, a fun evening with friends, or a light-hearted company team-building outing.
