Pink hour 🩷

A lot of people chase the perfect sunset. And yeah, it’s beautiful.

But right after that, don’t forget to look in the other direction and watch the pink clouds appear. It’s such a special moment. The whole air seems to have this tangible pink color.

Sometimes I wish I could stop time and just lie somewhere in a meadow, admiring the perfect creation around me.

I’m so grateful when I get to capture love during this beautiful time of day.

A long-forgotten film roll in one of my small analog cameras, I only realized it was still there last weekend when I took the little camera with me to Prague. So I finished the last few frames, got the film developed, and found these little treasures from summer 2023.

The kind of moment you don’t realize is important until years later.

In the middle of a wedding day, everything moves so quickly.
The music, the hugs, the emotions, the timeline, the people pulling you in every direction. And suddenly, the day you waited months for is over.

That’s why I always encourage my couples to step away for a few quiet minutes during golden hour.
Not just for photos, but for presence.

To breathe.
To hold each other for a second longer.
To look around and realize: we’re really here.
Married. Together. Living the very moment they once prayed and dreamed about.

Because years from now, these won’t just be beautiful portraits.
They’ll be reminders of how it felt.

The wind.
The light.
The stillness.
The feeling of being fully present with the person you love most.

And honestly, those little in-between moments often become the ones that matter the most.

Analog photos I took but never posted.

And I had the film in my camera for so long, that it expired in the meantime.

Or was it already expired?

I don’t remember.

It was quite a long time ago. I think I got developed the film in 2021. But it might have been there even before the Covid time 🤔
Since then I’ve learned that films belong to the fridge.
At least the color ones.

So this happens to a color film when it is exposed warmer environment that it’s supposed to be in :)
