Bettina Bence vezetett remek beszélgetést a Lahmacun radioban az alternatív / artist-run / független művészeti szcénáról. A képzőművészeti szcénában szokásos teoretikus megközelítésen túllépve inkább a praktikus kérdések voltak terítéken, érdemes meghallgatni.
A meghívott beszélgetőtársak Agg Lili és Puskár Krisztián és Dániel Ongjerth voltak.

Az adás Meet Reset! program keretében, a PAIKKA kezdeményezésére és szervezésében valósult meg.

✨ A nice concluding article just came out on MMN Mag aout our ongoing project Organized Noise, created with the support of Reset! Network.

It reflects on how we’ve been exploring public space, sound and community throughout this series.

Read it here:

We have reported about a couple of events happening in Budapest in late October/early November under the project called Organized Noise. The project is an instance of the Reset! network’s Meet Reset! events dedicated to a specific theme called Reclaiming spaces. The common concept of the series is

As part of the 'Meet Reset! event series', last week we gathered at 11_11 Gallery for an evening of food and conversation. Each of us — PAIKKA, Lahmacun radio, 1111 and MMN Mag — invited people we work with from the independent cultural field in Budapest.

The evening was open, informal, full of exchange and ideas for what could come next. We hope to continue, inviting new people to join the table each time.

Thanks for the photos Gábor Nemerov. 🙏

This spring was about transition — starting with a residency in the woods and turning into a tour through Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary with eight incredible creators from totally different backgrounds and fields. Everyone brought their own stories, questions, and energy into the mix.

HOLY WEEK became a kind of experiment — part performance, part ritual, part community gathering. The idea was to play with Easter traditions: to see what happens when we rethink old customs and bring people together in new ways. Along the way, we connected with local people in the Visegrad region, and the project kept shifting as we went — no fixed shape, just something alive that kept growing.

The final performance was never really final. It kept evolving, picking up traces from each place and each moment. We’re grateful for everyone who joined, hosted, shared food, stories, and space with us.

Huge thanks to the creators who made this whole thing what it was: Jana Ambrózová, Jeries AbuJaber, Csilla Bartus, Magdalena Franczak, Kasha Potrohosh, Maciej Polynko, Yu En-Ping

Facilitator: Bíborka Béres

Backend: Sanna Bo

And to our amazing partners for their warmth and support:
DDK Weglin (Lublin, PL), Cross Attic (Prague, CZ) & Terén (Brno, CZ), and OOO (Bratislava, SK)

We’ll carry this one with us for a while.

The photos are from Šimon Lupták at our stop at LOM, Bratislava.

🏳️ The project is co-financed by the governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from the International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.

After a week immersed in the deep forests of Hungary, we set off on a tour with a ritual performance—an offering woven from old and new traditions. Carrying the spirit of the woods with us, we’ll visit old and new friends across four countries to celebrate the awakening of nature together.

Hope to see you at one of our dates:

We never accepted food from anyone without paying for it. We worked hard day and night so we would not be a burden to any of you.

Aaaand that's a wrap! We’ve closed this hardworking year by concluding the 92529 project. A huge thank you goes first to our collaborators, to Bakáts Bunker for hosting us, and to everyone who came to try out our automated confession booth, shared their sins on the screen, and hopefully enjoyed a piece of our well-earned bread.

It'd be a blessing to see all of you again next year. To stay in the loop, keep an eye on our website (www.paikka.xyz), where we’ll be slowly updating details about what’s to come. For the latest updates, though, our newsletter is the best way to stay connected: https://bit.ly/3AHOXTK
