The Conception of Central and Eastern Europe

We are excited to announce the official launch of The Conception of Central and Eastern Europe, a collaborative photography project supported by the International Visegrad Fund.

The project is implemented through a partnership of four organizations representing the Visegrad countries:

• Hungary – The National Association of Hungarian Journalists (MÚOSZ)
• Slovakia – Paradajs photo
• Czech Republic – 400 ASA
• Poland – RAV∙A Stories

Together, the partners bring sixteen photographers from across the V4 region to create new documentary photography projects exploring contemporary realities in Central and Eastern Europe. Through collaborative documentary and autonomous photography, the project examines how identity, community, social transformation, migration, work, memory, and everyday life are experienced across the region.
Although the countries of Central and Eastern Europe share interconnected histories and many common experiences, contemporary realities within the region often remain fragmented and insufficiently visible beyond national borders. This project creates a shared visual platform where different perspectives can meet, encouraging dialogue and a deeper understanding of the region through photography.

We are pleased to introduce the mentors and photographers participating in the project.

Naša plátená taška PARADAJS je ideálna na letné večery. Tmavomodrá a jemne ružová vytvárajú farebnú kombináciu, ktorá ladí s atmosférou dlhých letných prechádzok, koncertov aj posedení s priateľmi.
