60 more days until we meet under the Tolmin stars.

From the very beginning, Butik was built as a small festival – one that leaves space for connection, discovery, and the feeling of being part of something shared. The name comes from the idea of a boutique experience: intimate, carefully curated, and shaped around quality over quantity.

Every year, 3000 of us gather by the river, surrounded by mountains, for five days shaped as much by nature and conversations as by the music itself. Long mornings by the river, nights stretching into sunrise, familiar faces returning, and new artists waiting to be discovered.
From the start, it was important to us that local artists remain a strong part of the lineup – creating space for scenes and sounds that deserve to be heard alongside artists arriving from all over the world.

Being rooted in Tolmin has always shaped the way we build the festival. Many of the people behind Butik are locals, and staying small has always allowed us to grow carefully, stay connected to the place around us, and keep the experience personal for everyone involved.

Tranquility is where things slow down during the festival. Set among the trees, it’s a space to rest, reset, and unwind. During the day, you’ll find a range of workshops and activities – from yoga and mind-stretching sessions to dance classes – and at night, you can dive into ambient sets by selected artists from our lineup, often carrying through the early hours and into the dawn.

Over the past two years, Tranquility has also featured light installations by Tilen Sepič, a multidisciplinary artist working across light, sound, and spatial design. His oscillating red light installation last year became a magnetic part of Tranquility – visible from afar, drawing you in, and constantly shifting with the rhythm of the space, hovering above colorful woven hammocks stretched through the trees like oversized spider webs.

This space means a lot to us, so we’re evolving it further this year – see you there. 𖦹

The Gathering of 2026 — this one took longer to come down from. After carefully selecting the photos for the final gallery, nothing felt quite right, just like no words can fully describe this experience.

Thank you to everyone on the dancefloor, the artists, and the whole crew for taking part. That’s what taking part really means — it felt like everyone brought something into it. You could feel it, and it made everything connect. Now each one of us takes a piece of it back home. It will stay with us forever. Thank you.💛
