it was about you.
Your presence, your words, your laughter, your quiet attention —
you brought meaning to every brushstroke.

Thank you for coming, for feeling, for sharing this with me.

but behind every smile, there was a heartbeat I’ll carry with me.

šlo je za vas.
Vaša prisotnost, vaše besede, vaš smeh, vaša tiha zbranost —
vsem potezam s čopičem ste dali pomen.

Iskrena hvala vsem, ki ste prišli, s svojo prisotnostjo podprli razstavo in mi dali občutek bližine – tudi v času, ko sem daleč od doma.
"Po bombah, pred vdihom" ni le razstava o vojni, temveč tudi o občutku tujosti, izgubi in tihem hrepenenju po miru.
Razstava ostaja odprta do 31. julija.

Thank you to everyone who joined me at the opening of my exhibition.
After the Bombs, Before the Breath speaks not only of war, but also of exile, distance, and the quiet need to breathe again.
Open until July 31st.

We do not want war.
We do not want force.
We do not want foreign decisions for our own country.
We do not want men asleep in power.
We do not want women sitting by the graves of their children.
We do not want children torn away from their families.
We do not want to be alive without truly living.
We do not want to be born into war,
and to die in it.

But
we want embraces for comfort,
silence for peace,
hands for building,
eyes for truth,
steps toward light,
tears for washing away pain,
and
love for the sake of love.

We are alive to see
not to judge...

A woman is not just a word,She has roots in the earth and reaches for the sky.She is the sound of rain on thirsty ground...

She has roots in the earth and reaches for the sky.
She is the sound of rain on thirsty ground,
The sunrise after endless nights.

A woman has woven history with her hands,
Her silence holds unspoken cries,
Her gaze maps roads yet to be traveled.

Today is not a day for mere praise,
It is a day for reflection—
On the paths we have walked,
On the journeys still ahead.

March 8 is a reminder that freedom, justice, and equality
Are not gifts but rights to be lived.

For every woman who stood tall,
For every woman who fought,
For every woman who still breathes hope.
