Gallery 0,04m³
- set in the smallest gallery in
the largest exhibition space [ ] in town.
There will be a grand opening today at 7pm and with it a new installation in this small gallery.
This time i'm exhibiting in my own gallery, cause since there is practically no gallery money for a professional invitation of an artist.
I'm showing a little part of my lovely collection project I've called/named
From each collection I present only three objects. Three as the plural.
A collection of series of banal things [readymade - madeready] that have some points in common:
1. they are banal.
2. they are (somehow) invisible
for most, for many
3. every one of these objects is unique and special
4. you have no influence and/or control over the final shape and appearance of the object
* popcorn (2005)
* chewing gum/bubble gum (2005)
* caps (spray heads) (2008)
* crumpled paper (origami) (2010)
These objects have occupied and accompanied me for almost 20 years. And, this project is the only constant in my diverse and multifaceted (in terms of variety) creative path and life.
These objects fascinate me again and again, like a neverending ongoing perspective...
a large group of communal individuality, like you and me, and the others.
It seems to me that we already know that art is not good or bad - it is just art, or it is not. It is observing, watching, accepting ... exploring.
It’s about expressing yourself and not just about impressing someone.
Everything else simply depends on you / us.
