It does not happen many times in life that you meet a group of people and feel an immediate connection or even soul bond. This is precisely what happened when we first saw each other eye to eye with Formaviva family, an instant attraction. It was almost like we didn't have to use any words in order to communicate or exchange ideas.
We began our collaboration in late 2015 when they had an opening for a New Year's Eve, after one of many deaths of our venue. Yes, you heard it right. Our place was facing an ending many times in our history, and we somehow always managed to resurrect due to our passion and love for music. It was jet another turning point, and when they introduced their concept to us, we immediately knew that we have to upgrade and catch up. It went on for some years, and every event was a bigger challenge for us. They kept pushing our boundaries (technology-wise and concept-wise), sometimes to the point that it was further than we could bear. At the last few events, we literally left hundreds of people outside, simply because our premises weren't able to hold the capacity of people that were desperately desiring to attend the party.
During the years of our collaboration, we faced many challenges. We had to compromise with electricity, old, demolished and war-out infrastructure. We even tried to go separate ways, we experienced unpleasant interference regarding third party situation, trying to break the fondness toward each other but somehow our love only grew. The bigger the challenges, the stronger was the bond between us. We realised that we belong together and no matter the distance between us, our love remains. Love that reaches beyond social media likes and followings, love that is indeed present in 5D. We are one and we always come in a package.
And now we obviously came to the point when our venue is again under serious threat, at least this is the message that we are all getting from the news and the media. But what the general public does not have the insight of, is our still growing passion for music and love for each other. We are now determined more than ever, to dedicate our lives and continue with our mission which is to spread the love for the music, not only across our country but across entire Universe.
Rog as a community and our Hall, in particular, is a caterpillar facing a deep metamorphosis in an urge to become a butterfly since we outgrew the primary concept of our community long-ago. We are addressing this message to all of you lovely people, our supporters, to have faith in better days. We all share the same values, dedication, love for the family and passion for music. We will continue with our legacy because we strongly believe that electronic scene without collectives like Formaviva would be incomplete. We also hope that the Head of the Department for Culture of the city of Ljubljana will recognise that it would be a big misstep for the European underground scene if we let places like ours extinct. We are daring Mestna občina Ljubljana to take a bite into the forbidden fruit of our city, as we strongly believe that our apple is not only the sweetest but it also represents the group of people with the most forward-thinking ideas on our grounds. We are reaching out to you in the same way that Hades reached out for Persephone, took her hand, brought her to the underworld and took her innocence.
We again promise you that we will continue our mission despite the outcome regarding our venue. Our Plutonian force is stronger than you can possibly imagine and love for music in boiling in our vains.
