The film takes place in Catlands, the union of distinct feline territories inhabited by cats of various social statuses. The delicate established status quo is disrupted by newcomers trespassing the lawns of the cats’ u

nited territories. To address this international issue, the most prominent residents devise a cunning plan, one that cannot be executed without harming some innocent victims.

Thank you Trieste Film Festival - Alpe Adria Cinema and Slovenski filmski center / Slovenian Film Centre for the wonderful Wild Roses selection of films by Slovene female filmmakers. It was wonderful to be part of the program and enjoy the warmth of the festival atmosphere.

Animirani film 𝐌𝐚𝐜̌𝐞𝐤 𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐯𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢 Catlands (Ana Čigon, 2024) potuje po sosednjih državah. Julija je bil prikazan v posebnem sklopu Agorà na festivalu Premio Sergio Amidei v Gorici ter v mestni galeriji Striegl, Sisain. Avgusta je pot nadaljeval v tekmovalnem programu Vrboska Film Festival na Hvaru, kmalu pa potuje še na Vukovar Film Festival, kjer bo prikazan v tekmovalnem programu. 🎉

On Friday Catlands was part of the event Ljeto u dvorištu Holandske kuće / Summer in the courtyard of the Dutch House in Gradska galerija Striegl in Sisak, Croatia.

Tomorrow at 2.30 pm, Catlands will be shown in the programme AGORÀ at Kinemax Gorizia, Italy as part of a special programme of Premio "Sergio Amidei". The programme will screen four films made by directors Ana Čigon, Cabiria Lizzi, Neli Maraž and Ajad Noor, with directors present at the screening. Kindly invited!
