Still processing everything from Saturday night…

Seeing so many familiar faces alongside new ones on the dancefloor reminded us exactly why we started this in the first place.

Thank you to everyone who came, danced, smiled, talked, skated, stayed late, brought energy, and shared the night with us. Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or joined us for the first time - thank you for becoming part of the memory.

A special thank you also goes to all the artists, collaborators, technicians, friends, and all who helped shape the atmosphere throughout the years and on this particular night. None of this would exist without collective effort, trust, and love for music and dancing.

Moments like these remind us that Just A Dance has always been more than an event. It’s a community built around movement, connection, expression, and shared experience.

We’re grateful beyond words for every single person who crossed paths with us during these past 10 years.

A big part of the visual image at the parties was also created by 5237, a visual artist and VJ, who scaled our Retrowave future image and applied it to amazing visual mappings.

Combined with event photos from Nibera, the event’s visual image gained recognizability and evoked futuristic nostalgia through neon shapes and patterns that defined the 80s.

Without , Just A Dance probably wouldn’t have reached the vision, recognizability, and success it did over the years, and we thank her greatly for this!

We started collaborating on visuals & artworks and got swallowed by her talent, ideas, and vision - every output was better than the last. We quickly trusted her to take the party visually where it needed to be, and she also became our main photographer and decorator, resulting in the vision that we all know well and love.

We’ll be able to experience her talents and special decorations once again at the anniversary!

.vie (fka Elovetric) was invited to play at Just A Dance in its earliest days, came, picked up the vibe, understood the sound exactly, and kept being invited back.

He is the driving force behind the geeky and cheeky Disco and Italo sound at our parties - his main goal for Just A Dance was always to keep the party accessible to everyone and offer a relaxed environment, focused on dancing and music.

Quickly after joining, he started helping with organisation, taking over the management, setting clear structures, and running the booking for the party, while maintaining a clear goal of the event’s vision throughout the years. If Just A Dance event happens now, it almost cannot happen without him, his work, and commitment - he’s our all-in-one Swiss army knife of event management and organization.

Even though he moved to Berlin in 2022, he still remotely takes care of the party and makes sure that the dancing doesn’t stop. It’s always special when he visits and brings his new musical knowledge to our small Slovenian Disco scene - this time in a b2b form with gramma!

The main man behind Just A Dance, , gave birth to the idea of the event back in 2016 and started everything - inspired by ‘My Mine - Hypnotic Tango’, the event took shape. His main role throughout the years has been maintaining the vision of Just A Dance, the Retrowave future, and sharing the heart of the party around Slovenia with his music selection, promo video edits, or simply all-around love for the sound. He recently refocused more on music production and running the Just A Dance Record label - he officially started releasing tracks last year and also promises multiple future releases in 2026.

(Hint: there are a few new releases coming very, very soon!)

We’re excited for his nostalgic DJ set that will remind us again of the event’s initial Synthwave beginnings!

Von Meister became part of the core Just A Dance team over the years and always ensured transparency in our Italo Disco and Eurodance choices.
We got to know him through Nibera, our visual artist, and together they were in charge of setting up the beautiful decorations and installations on multiple occasions.
He always dug up super old and nostalgic Italo hits at just the right time - his knowledge of the history of Italo Disco helped with a few of our biggest bookings, and it was amazing to discuss the history of music together.
In the past few years, he stepped back from DJing, but luckily, he’s returning for a special warm-up set to mark the occasion, so make sure to come early!

We connected with and shared a studio together for at least 5 years, so there was always a mutual trust in music selection, experience, and technicality, with multiple nights of musical exchange, exploration, and inspiration from our different paths of electronic music.
He’s having a beautifully growing career with multiple digital and vinyl releases, podcasts, DJ sets, streams, festival appearances, and club performances across Europe. We’re happy to see that the community loves his sound and is lifting him towards bigger success at home and abroad, so we’re excited to celebrate this special occasion together, joined behind the decks by his very own co-conspirator, Lottie!

.k_ showed up on our radar as a music enthusiast who likes going down different electronic music rabbit holes. We initially met through joint studio sessions and musical explorations. Her range and knowledge of different music genres gave her the perfect formula to understand and hold dancefloors in the palm of her hand with intense club rhythms, as seen in multiple festival appearances and streams that resonate across the European underground scene. In the last few years, she’s been a part of Muzičarna crew, hosting daytime music events around Ljubljana, and we can’t wait for her b2b with her partner in crime, Lerro!

The best way to describe .cdx ’s personality: ‘An inspirational multi-tasking machine and soon-to-be doctor.’

We first connected with gramma through Steeevie in his role as a substitute Just A Dance photographer for our Nibera. He always understood what Just A Dance was about, so he was an obvious choice to keep our familiar visual image going and when something cicks this way, there’s no reason to change it. Since then he also started DJing and we were waiting for the right opportunity where our sounds would match - this time together with Steeevie! “As great friends and explorers of international club scene, they will both step out of their musical comfort zone and play a cheeky house b2b, inspired by their joint crussades around Berlin clubs, so look out!

is a person radiating positivity and inspiring child-like mischief. In recent years, he’s been inspiring dancers around festivals in Slovenia and abroad by his relentless funkiness. He’s the main man behind the local BigNose record store, which has a big influence on the local DJ community since its opening. When he’s not doing that, he’s actively producing and releasing chops and edits of old Funk and Disco songs and giving them a modern twist. With all that experience, we thought he would be a perfect addition to our anniversary, sharing his happiness and music for our celebration!
