We’ve got you covered!

This year you’ll be able to upgrade your wardrobe and add some real swing style — both on and off the dance floor.

On Friday and Saturday at Hotel Union you’ll find a clothing stand by , where you can pick up something special and make sure you hit the dance floor in style. ✨

As tradition, we'll have two competitions ready for you where you can win different festival passes prizes!

Friday evening: Mix'n'Match Preliminary Round - starts at approx. 9:30 PM (we'll let you know the details soon enough).
- Sign up at the registration desk until 6:30 PM on Friday
- Fee: 16 EUR/person
- Collect your competition number by 7PM, Friday

Saturday evening: Mix'n'Match Finals - starts at approx. 9:30 PM

Sunday during the evening - Fast Feet Competitions: anyone who wants can join

And when the band will be resting, taking some breaths of fresh air, DJ KRISZTINA will take the stage.

Krisztina’s love affair with swing dance and swing music started in 2014. She was a residential DJ in Budapest, and now in Vienna, and appeared at a couple of international festivals too. In the last decade she was traveling around Europe and got influenced by the teachers and DJs all over her journey. What made her turn to be a DJ? She has always been fond of music… the rhythm, the vibes and the very message it carries. It was always crucial to her to spread the love of music and musicality. She has started early to dig into the different eras of jazz. Beside fizzy big band songs and classics she likes to play records from the modern jazz era as well as tunes of original records of the jazz masters. She always loves to bring something surprising and new. For Krisztina the danceroom is a playground, the music is the toy to play with and the DJ is the gamemaster. Krisztina’s greatest joy is to see the dancers get enchanted by the music she plays.

If you're in Ljubljana for just a day or two (or three), you can still join HaniBal and get your one-day party pass ticket. They are available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.

Single-day party passes are limited, and you can already get yours online.

Preparty starts on Thursday

✨ Pre-party – Thursday, 3.9.2026 - registration is opened from 20:00 til midnight (so we can dance more then Cinderella)

Main parties on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as all the workshops, will be happening in the lovely and historic Grand Hotel Union.
Located in the city centre this beautiful, it has hosted many personalities from politics, film, music, and even royalty, including Queen Elizabeth II. And of course Balboa Festival HaniBal. :)

Live music, DJ, competitions, vendors and al lot of dancing and fun.
