After a role debut as Luna a month ago at SNG Ljubljana, I can't be more excited to also have my first new production at this theater! What a special joy and honour it is to share the stage with my wife as breathtaking Manon and myself as her brother Lescaut in a Puccini's classic titled Manon Lescaut. As you can see on the first picture, this is my third time singing Lescaut and I'll be back for more again next Season in Frankfurt.
We have 3 more shows on 17., 20., 23. 5.

Dragi prijatelji!

Nocoj bom debitiral v Verdijevi mojstrovini in sicer kot Grof Luna v Trubadurju. To je po Macbethu druga velika verdijanska baritonska vloga v tej sezoni. Neizmerno se veselim, da bom po lanskem debiju v SNG Ljubljana kot Onjegin, zopet lahko nastopil na domačem odru. Vsem želim velik toi toi toi!
Na voljo je še nekaj vstopnic za moji predstavi v četrtek in soboto. Vljudno vabljeni!

Dear Friends!

Tonight I am making my debut in Verdi's masterpiece Il Trovatore as Conte di Luna. This is second big baritone Verdi role this Season after Macbeth. I am so excited to be returning to the SNG Ljubljana after making my debut here last Season as Onegin. Toi toi toi to everyone!
There are still a few tickets left for my shows on Thursday and Saturday! I hope to see you!

Dear friends!

This evening marks my last opening this Season in Frankfurt. After Prinz von Homburg, Macbeth and Guercœur, there is yet another role that deals with existential questions. Alexander Petrovič Gornjačikov is a political prisoner in Siberia where we mostly through his character follow the devastating stories of other prisoners. Based on Dostoevski's novel Janaček's last opera still resonates with audience today, showing the harsh reality of cruel treatment of the fellow human being.
