Pentas Karyawan is a Malay Theatre Group from Republic Polytechnic, which aims to promote the Malay Language and literature. Holding annual productions staged at The Republic Cultural Centre (TRCC) for Reflections Arts Festival, Arts Platter and End-of-Year Production, Pentas Karyawan allows members a platform for Malay youths to showcase their passion and talents. iginal work written and directed by Anwar Hadi Ramli, a well-known Malay Theatre personality with 20 years of experience. With his artistic guidance in the areas of theatre acting and production, Pentas Karyawan is able to hold many successful productions such as Tahyul (2015) , Kurun Yang Hilang (2015) and The Vicious Cycle of Malay Youths (2016). With the consistent standard of performance, Pentas Karyawan hold its first very own show for Reflections 2016, titled Siapa Curi Tudung Neelofa to sold-out audience at TRCC Lab. Aside from production directed by Pentas Karyawan’s trainer, Pentas Karyawan holds annual Arena Pentas, where members can write and direct their own play.
