Ninety-nine percent of Thai people believe that parents are the most sacred figures in life, whom both sons and daughters should treat with goodness and deep respect, as if they were enlightened beings, and should never cause them suffering or distress.
Today, the day I have lost my mother, I have come to realize that everything I have done for my parents has become a source of pride for me. There is nothing left unresolved, nothing for which I must ask forgiveness. I am grateful to all sacred beings above, below, and around me. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to stand here today to bid farewell to my mother who gave me life, and for allowing me the chance to do good deeds for her one last time. This alone fills my heart with the greatest pride.
I sincerely hope that my mother receives abundant merit from these good deeds and that she journeys safely to heaven, becoming an angel who may pay homage to the Lord Buddha in peace🙏🙏🙏
