惲壽平《萬里江山圖》水墨長卷｜清初山水巨製
惲壽平《萬里江山圖》為水墨白描山水長卷，題跋自述取法宋代王希孟江山圖式，以北宋山水格局為骨，化青綠重彩為清潤水墨，於長卷之中鋪陳萬里江山氣象。
全卷層巒疊嶂、江渚流泉綿延展開，古寺村舍、橋亭舟楫、松竹林木錯落其間。山石線條清潤綿勁，水紋細筆層層勾寫，屋宇、人物與舟車點景精微，在宋畫嚴謹法度之中融入南田秀逸淡遠的文人筆意，咫尺之間呈現千里山河。
惲壽平以沒骨花卉名世，傳世山水多見冊頁及小幅作品，如此全景式通景長卷尤為難得。作品集南田山水筆墨、行書題跋與宋人江山圖式於一卷，既見其對古代山水傳統的追摹，亦呈現清初文人重新詮釋宋畫意境的藝術取向。
原裝舊裱，古雅溫潤，題跋、款印保存完整。以其宏闊形製、豐富筆墨與完整題跋而言，具備突出的藝術鑑賞、典藏展示及學術研究價值，為惲壽平山水題材中值得深入研究的重要作品。
Yun Shouping (1633–1690), Ten Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains — Ink Handscroll
Ten Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains is an expansive ink landscape handscroll attributed to Yun Shouping. According to the inscription, the composition draws inspiration from the monumental landscape tradition associated with the Northern Song master Wang Ximeng, transforming the brilliant blue-and-green landscape idiom into an elegant interpretation executed primarily in ink and line.
Across the scroll, layered mountain ranges, waterways and cascading streams unfold continuously, interspersed with temples, village dwellings, bridges, pavilions, boats, pine trees and bamboo groves. Delicate yet controlled outlines define the mountains, while finely articulated water patterns and meticulously rendered architectural and figural details create a remarkably rich panoramic landscape. The work combines the disciplined pictorial structure of Song painting with the refined, lyrical sensibility associated with Yun Shouping.
Yun Shouping is celebrated above all for his pioneering mogu (“boneless”) flower paintings, while surviving landscapes are more commonly encountered in albums and works of relatively intimate scale. A panoramic landscape conceived in such an extended handscroll format is therefore of particular interest. Bringing together landscape painting, calligraphic inscription and the monumental visual tradition of Song-dynasty landscapes, the scroll reflects the Qing literati engagement with and reinterpretation of earlier Chinese painting traditions.
Retaining its traditional mounting and complete inscriptions and seals, the scroll possesses an elegant sense of age and visual integrity. Its ambitious format, sophisticated brushwork and extensive inscription give the work considerable artistic, collecting, exhibition and scholarly significance, making it a noteworthy example for the study of Yun Shouping’s landscape practice.
