I wanted to share a little back story on why I started working with pink sapphires. I was thinking to create a piece of commemorative jewelry to mark the turning of tides this year where I started to feel safer within myself. For some reason I looked up pink sapphires, a stone I was never interested in. And when I read its properties, it was exactly what I was looking for. The pink sapphire is a stone of gentle resilience, it encourages compassionate self-acceptance, and steady confidence in who you are. The most important one was emotional safety. I know this is all a little woowoo and you know what, sometimes I like things a little woowoo. So if you resonate with that, I hope you'll enjoy the work I have created and you can be excited as there will be more pink sapphire treasures to come!

A shop update is coming this weekend ✨ Sunday, 11 October, 11pm Singapore time 🖌️ I have a collection of labradorite guardians heading into the shop. Each one carefully crafted to house their own sparkling gem. I've always loved labradorite because of the way it shimmers and also because it's a protection stone like black tourmaline, but more flamboyant ✨

I have confirmed the line up of chawans joining Filter&Flow3! Let me know which ones are your favourite and why (-: Each of these chawans are hand-built. Starting from a ball of clay, I keep pinching, feeling the thickness of the base and walls, refining and adjusting until the bowl takes shape. After it has some time to dry and firm up, I further refine and carve out a chadamari in the centre, it acts as a well for the tea powder to pool into. I add a foot to the base using a coil and finally a tiny guardian is sculpted and nestled into the lip of the bowl. The little guardian will keep you company as you enjoy your drink, a reminder to savour the beverage you have prepared 🌱 If you want to know prices drop me a DM 🙏🏻
