There’s a fine line between being careful with your expenses and being stingy. 🥸

Don’t get me wrong when I say, “I have to save money”, or “I need to know when we will do it so I can plan beforehand”.

This does sound stingy if you are just buying a gift for your loved ones, but it is completely normal to share this if they are large expenses.

Sometimes, we spend on something without thinking, while that spendings could have been spent to something that we want /need more.
Isn’t that wasted?💸

That’s why saving helps you plan and spend wisely so that you can get what you truly need or want☺️

But maybe you can have a better lifestyle than others once you recognize the mistakes you're making.
And that's what matters.

No matter how old or young you are, it is never too late or too early to start saving money and spend on what you truly desire.

January… life is full of surprises.
February… so much has changed.
March… adjusting my lifestyle, timetable, and goals.

My life, surrounding by my family, has never been really happening according to schedules. One of the few things I feel I have control over is the money I’ve earned.
And now, I feel more planned and organized that I started saving cash; something tangible that I can see that I’m making differences in my life.

And… did you accidentally spend some unnecessary money, too?🤫 Well, sometimes it happens.. hopefully not everyday or every week :)
( I just went to dye my hair without really saving for it the other day, too. Gotta be honest 🤡)
But! You can start saving again from today.

Every beginning of the month, I will spend some time to budget my expenses and plan what to save for.
At first I felt a little tired looking at all the money I know I have to spend.
But when I have the cash to put inside the cash budgeting envelopes, I started feeling satisfied… like now I know I have enough or not. Which became my motivation to work harder to earn and save.

Save first, worry later.

Apparently, when money is in your bank, you tend to use them more because you can't see how it decreases (just a tap to purchase thing.. Let's clap for whoever that invented credit card 💳 👏👏👏)
Looking at the amount of $$$ in your bank on your phone... Do you really have them???

As I said in my earlier post, saving cash is so you can see the pain of spending them. It makes it difficult for you to spend unnecessarily.

Different cash envelopes are so that you can plan ahead to spend money wisely.

To tell you the truth, I didn’t know why I should save money at first.

I was only blindly saving money at the end of the month after I paid off my fixed expenses. But now I’m so happy I started this saving challenge.

To save a sum of money that is more than 3 digits just wasn't easy and effective, and I guess most of us feel that way, too. So I tried with $10 every month, sometimes $20 if I have some extra income from my side projects. And it feels so much more comfortable and rewarding to see that at the end of the month, I could save a few hundreds.

The best part I feel safe when I know that I have savings that can be put into other sinking funds and plan ahead for it.

Save first, worry later. 🌝
