“My mother is the heart that keeps me alive”.

We joined Jiajie Tok on a spiritual journey during the recent Thaipusam 2020. He did it for his mother, who is very ill due to complications from multiple brain surgeries.

As a chinese, he definitely stood out amongst the crowd of Hindu devotees but it is heartening to see the support that he received from the Indian community and devotees.

We wish you well, brother.

Traversing through the outskirts of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, we immersed ourselves by riding off road in the desert. The feeling of riding off road, as the sand sweeps through your feet, can be a little scary at first. But these are unforgettable moments of our time there.⁣

We also visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.⁣
⁣
