After being asked to shooting Singapore's first International Tango Festival. I ended up meeting my girlfriend's long time favorite Argentinian singer, Javier Di Ciriaco and the legendary Sexteto Milonguero. After showing Javier Di Ciriaco some of my imagery he was so kind to ask Heinke Fiedler, to publish my images in their upcoming book. Tai-O, Hong Kong, 1997. This is when taxis where only allowed to this side of the island. There was only a footpath to the big Buddha. After the Sanpan community had shrunk and before the fire that forced the fishing village to build a tall building where there was never any before. Hahaha and I was still shooting a Nikon FM2 with Tri-X 400.
