ROSTER SHOWCASE: KOUKI

Hailing from Japan, Kouki is a forced to be reckoned with. From major music videos with artists like KinKi Kids, King & Prince, GREEEEN, and NOA, to live stages including MAMA 2023 and the Asia Artist Awards, he continues to build a strong presence in the Asian entertainment scene.

Beyond performing, his experience extends into dance assisting and stand-in work for artists like Travis Japan, BE:FIRST, and BALLISTIC BOYS.

With roots in both performance and choreography, Kouki represents the best among next generation of dancers.

Time: 8:00–10:30 PM
Location: Center Expo, Da Nang, Vietnam
Schedule:
- ⁠8:00—8:30 PM Registration
- ⁠8:30—9:30 PM Round 1
- ⁠9:20—10:30 Round 2 + Feedback + Q&A

AUDITION PROCESS
How does Round 1 work?
- Round 1 consists of learning a combo, followed by group rounds.

How does Round 2 work?
- Round 2 will include a solo showcase, followed by live feedback and an opportunity for Q&A.

How are dancers selected for solos?
- Carlo and Latrice will select approximately 10 dancers based on what stands out during Round 1, including performance quality, musicality, and presence.

Will everyone participate in both rounds?
- No. Only selected dancers will move on to the solo round.

How will dancers be called?
- Each dancer will be assigned a number at check-in, which will be used throughout the audition. Pins will be provided.

MUSIC SUBMISSION
Do I need to submit music in advance?
- No. Only dancers selected for solos will be asked to submit music immediately after being selected.

What format should my music be in?
- Music must be provided as an MP3 file. Dancers who are unable to provide an MP3 may not be able to participate.

How do I send my music?
- Music should be sent via WhatsApp to the designated contact provided onsite.

How long should my showcase be?
- Performances should be between 30–60 seconds.

FEEDBACK AND EXPECTATIONS
Will feedback be given?
- Yes. Selected dancers will receive live feedback following their solo performances.

Does getting selected guarantee representation or booking?
- No. This audition is primarily for community engagement and dancer development and does not guarantee representation or booking.

Born into an iconic artistic lineage in Senegal and trained from the age of five through the National Ballet of Senegal, Kany’s foundation spans traditional African dance, funk, popping, hip-hop, waacking, heels, street jazz, and contemporary — shaped by mentors like Poppin’ Pete, SkeeeterRabbit, and Luam.

Kany’s career spans the world’s biggest stages. From choreographing and performing for Beyoncé to redefining global pop culture by choreographing for SHINee, KEY, Jisoo, VIVIZ, Kiss of Life, and more, Kany is a true architect of movement with impact that lives where culture, story, and dance collide.

Tape 12 celebrates ._.jo and her monumental choreography contributions to K-POP DEMON HUNTERS — a project that highlighted Korean culture and K-Pop on a global scale, creating a movement that truly defined 2025 for millions worldwide.

From screen to stage, showcased how dance can live beyond one platform and become something GOLDEN. We’re incredibly proud of Nain and commitment to bringing the world of K-POP DEMON HUNTERS to life.
