From August to November last year, students from ’s Diploma in Creative Direction for Fashion programme and ’s BA (Hons) in Visual Arts programme teamed up both online and in person to transform personal memories into tangible objects. Students exchanged stories and learnt new skills through creative writing and illustration workshops; they even received handwritten letters from each other! 💌 This Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) project was facilitated by academics Pixie Tan and Pat Wong.

Between and , we present over 50 zines that have crossed cultural shores to capture stories of love, loss and self discovery from our wardrobes in one exhibition.

We invite you to come by and explore the ways in which the students have drawn connections between personal identity and materiality through collaborative publishing.
