This tournament showed what SGIA is all about. Heart, determination, sportsmanship, teamwork, and never giving up no matter the score.

⚽ SGIA U17 Girls – Mariners’ Cup 2026 Champions ⚽

A historic and proud moment for the Singapore Indian Association as our SGIA U-17 Girls Football Team emerged Champions at the Mariners’ Cup 2026 held on 1 May 2026 at The Cage @ Dempsey! 🏆

This victory marks an incredible milestone — winning the championship in the very first tournament participation for the SGIA ladies’ football initiative.
What started as an initiative within SGIA to empower and encourage girls in sports has now turned into an inspiring success story.

More than just a trophy, this win represents the beginning of a promising journey for women’s football in SGIA — creating opportunities, building confidence, and inspiring the next generation of girls to dream bigger and play stronger.

All kudos and appreciation go to our SGIA President for his vision, intention, and purpose in uplifting and empowering the Indian community through meaningful initiatives like these. His continuous support towards youth development and community building has made moments like this possible.

SGIA and SGIA Women’s Wing were proud to jointly present our Mother’s Day Celebration 2026 — an evening that will truly remain memorable in the hearts of many.

Having legendary personalities Radhika Sarathkumar, R. Sarathkumar and their son Rahul grace and honour the event was indeed a proud and special moment for all of us.
The highlight of the evening was the engaging Fireside Chat , where Radhika, Sarathkumar and Rahul openly shared their experiences, thoughts and heartfelt moments with the audience. The hall was filled with laughter, warmth and incredible energy throughout the session.
Adding meaning to the celebration, we also honoured 5 inspiring mothers from our audience during the segment " Mother's Hard Knocks" — recognising their strength, sacrifices and unconditional love.

The evening became even more vibrant with fantastic dance performances by Royalusion and entertaining musical performances by singers from Mohican bringing excitement and joy to the full house celebration.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came together to make this event such a grand success. A beautiful celebration of mothers, memories and togetherness.
