🎸 An Inspiring Evening with Anton Baranov

Last Saturday, a few of us from the Toa Payoh Guitar Club had the privilege of watching the incredible Anton Baranov perform.

There’s something special about sharing these moments with friends who truly understand the passion for classical guitar. It’s not just about the music—it’s about the dedication behind every note and the shared awe of witnessing artistry performed at certain levels.

What truly took our breath away was Anton’s performance of Flight of the Bumblebee (see video). A well-known piece, yes—but seeing it played at super speed, flawlessly executed on the guitar, was something else entirely.

Thanks to Andrew Wee for inviting us to this unforgettable experience. Nights like these remind us why we love what we do. 🎶
