Ever wondered what it looks like when a master guitarist coaches an ensemble in real time? Come and find out.

On Saturday, 18 July, 3–6pm at the National Library Building, Toa Payoh Guitar Club presents an afternoon with guest clinician Patrick Lui. 🎸 One week on — and the music is still with us.

It was exactly a week ago today that Toa Payoh Guitar Club closed out Day 1 of the Guitar Festival at the Library 2026 with a 90-minute showcase at the National Library Building. Every seat taken. Every piece performed with heart.

We’ve put together a highlights reel — 14 pieces distilled into under 3 minutes — from Vivaldi’s Spring to Studio Ghibli, Back Number to Fauré, Barrios Mangoré to beloved Mandarin classics. Our full Niibori guitar orchestra, our guest ensemble Re:String Guitar Ensemble, our soloists, our trios, and our strum-and-sing performers — all on one stage, for one unforgettable afternoon.

This is what 50 years of community music-making looks like. 🎶

Individual full-length performance videos are already up on our YouTube channel — watch the full playlist at https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQLsEMtsBtOE&si=Bbc4VTeYO-bb2etv

Thank you to everyone who came, and to the Classical Guitar Singapore and National Library Singapore for making this festival possible.
