A Saturday spent exploring how tea can transform into colour, object & experience with ANTEA SOCIAL 𓆸

I had such a wonderful time sharing the process of natural dyeing, followed by a guided tasting of Sherlene and Jolene’s thoughtful curation of teas, inviting us to slow down and appreciate tea beyond taste and aroma.

A toran is traditionally placed above a doorway, hung at the entrance of homes, temples, and spaces, serving as a gesture of invitation, protection, and blessing. When Mandee invited me to create a piece for their new space, I was drawn to reinterpret a version of my own.
