A dance school started by former professional ballet dancer Chua Kah Joo that offers a specially designed programme focusing on developing artistic and technically proficient dancers. Chua Kah Joo started his early ballet training at the Singapore Ballet Academy where he obtained his Advanced Certificate awarded by the Royal Academy of Dancing (UK). In 1970, he won a scholarship from Du Ballet de
la Jeunesse Romande and left for Lausanne, Switzerland. In London, he studied with Maria Fay, Errol Addison and Brigitte Espinosa. He started his career as a Soloist in major European ballet companies like Tanz Forum, Wuppertal Ballet, Munich Gärtnerplatz, Scottish Ballet, Covent Garden Royal Opera Ballet, Ballet International and London City Ballet. His dance career has taken him to Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa dancing with the likes of Marion St Clair and ballet legend Margot Fonteyn. Chua has worked with renowned choreographers like Kurt Joos (Germany), Serge Lifar (Yugoslavia), Oleg Danovsky (Bolshoi Ballet), Frederick Ashton (cofounder of Royal Ballet), Anton Dolin (Royal Ballet), Peter Darrell (Scottish Ballet), Jack Carter (London Festival Ballet), Larry Long and Ben Stevenson (Houston Ballet).
