Vocal Associates Formed in 2014, Vocal Associates is a dynamic non-profit arts group. The choristers represent multiple nations and cultures, and range in age from 7 to 75.

Their repertoire includes orchestral works, opera, Chinese orchestra, jazz, musical theatre & pop. “Art is a nation’s most precious heritage. For it is in our works of art that we reveal to ourselves and to others the inner vision which guides us as a nation. And where there is no vision, the people perish.” –Lyndon Johnson

Inspired by Gaston Leroux’s novel Phantom of the Opera, this haunting reimagining follows the haunting of the National Theatre by a mysterious figure who rules through fear and divine talent. Obsessed with a young soprano, Christine Daae, this figure grooms her to be his “Angel of Music.” When Christine’s childhood friend Raoul shows up and declares his love for her, the Phantom decides to make his presence more looming by threatening to destroy the National Theatre.
As desire transforms into a fight for control, the boundaries between love and obsession begin to blur. When long buried truths resurface, only one question remains: What must be sacrificed to be truly free.

This richly curated musical tapestry blends operatic grandeur with contemporary power - featuring original score by Jennifer Phillips. 当代古典女高音、声乐教育家许爱敏将于 2025年10月18日（周六）晚7:30在滨海艺术中心演奏室 呈献其个人独唱音乐会 《我想你了》，与您共享一个难忘的音乐之夜。

音乐会恰逢她55岁生日，主题围绕“想念”——串联对亲情、师友、学生与人生章节的回望与致意。作为新加坡最具多样性的声乐家之一，许爱敏将从古典艺术歌曲到深情抒怀、从怀旧金曲到爵士与律动，织就多元而动人的声乐风景。

曲目将以 英语、华语、粤语、马来语、维吾尔语、意大利语与德语 演唱，并由活力四射的乐手阵容细腻铺陈，赋予每个故事独特的质感与色彩。
